Ole Suzy started miss firing at 4000 revs - seemed to clear at 5000. I changed the front plug about a year ago never got round to doing the rear.
Thought I would start by putting the old plug back...

Got a tin in the shed somewhere - Useto use it on the Cub but now the AT fluid leaks out of the clutch seal and keeps the chain wet -great, more to life than cleaning if I can help it.

Stripped down and cleaned the carb on the Cub yesterday. Was going to refit it today but its too darn cold in the garage -will have to wait until it gets a bit warmer.

The Cub came with both back in 67. True to fine British engineering the side stand bent with the weight of the bike. I did have a replacement fabricated which has been ok but its the centre stand...

Well I left the battery on charge overnight and the bike started ok, so to be on the safe side a new battery will be fitted.

My super low mileage SV gets a new filter every other oil change at best. Guess you have to take into account how the bikes ridden and mileage accrued.

I have Briggs and Stratton stabilizer - it does seem to work ok.
Redex saved me a carb strip - took a couple of weeks but eventually cleared the carbs so I bung a drop in my various tanks now and...
