No, I was hoping on a bit more info re the worm drive. I don't have access to it & I'm trying to encourage her to take the worm drive off it, but the bike's back in a shed with a load of crap...

Agree. The bike has been hardly used in the past two years. I changed the worn cable on it. Somebody else didn't think it was set-up properly. I don't have access to the bike, but the gear change...

I've seen an old post re bearings falling out, but not much else. Anything to look for on the unit, or need taken off & split?


The bike has only done 17k so I wouldn't expect the clutch to be...

And a specific post.......are the Gen1 & later clutches really different? I'd be surprised if the clutch plates & basket are not used in other Suzuki's never mind the other SV's.....????????????

Thanks for the replies chaps. I've realised the Curvy has a seperate clutch cover, so if it has to come off for plate inspection it's simpler than the SK2.
