Re: Vintage film cameras
The K1000 was OK to use, I only have two left. One I got from the recycle shop at the tip and the other belonged to my great aunt that I sent away to be serviced as it was having shutter issues.

Re: Vintage film cameras
A very big queue! Have you tried Shanghai GP3? I might have to get some more.

Re: Vintage film cameras
They came out OK, I like the contrast. I haven't tried stand dev yet, I just follow the massive dev chart timer for agitation.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Not too bad, not ultra clear, but certainly usable. Does that make sense? It uses the lens as max aperture so I might experiment and see if stopping the lens down helps.

Re: Vintage film cameras
You can get them in various mounts, I've seen them in SR Minolta as well. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303124547267?hash=item4693a186c3:g:-foAAOSwf5FcsJts

Same here, no epic finds. Got me a Black OM1 but not exactly a steal.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I found a small case in a charity shop marked "Camera Lens, £2" Thinking it was a teleconverter I nearly left it. Glad I opened it as it turned out to be a lens to scope adapter for OM mount. Allows...

Re: Vintage film cameras
Wow, those came out really well. I wasn't able to get out and shoot much last week as my car was in for repairs. I managed to pick up an Olympus XA2 and a couple of other point and shoots from...

Re: Vintage film cameras
Kodak D76, had to reduce time from ten minutes to eight as I couldn't get the developer to 20c, so I devved it at 22-23c. Will definitely buy another roll or two.

Ran a roll of Shanghai GP3 through my Kodak Brownie Portrait F. Quite pleased with the results. Love how the sky came out.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Film cameras are always on the up. I've traded in quite a few lately and have ended up with a rather classy collection of Nikon Fs.
