i earn a pitiful amount, 95% of people here earn more than me, the tax office just have it in for me and randomly change my tax code as they feel. since i registered as self employed (but never became self employed as i decided to stay in present job) they have screwed me round propperly
oh and im not registered self employed anymore either, i never made any money while i was self employed, but they still wanted to charge me more tax, its frikken stupid |
I don't know a thing about Tax, but surely if you give them your earnings to date they'll give you a rebate if you're entitled and by the sounds of it you are!
I'd contact your tax office and put the record straight if I were you, all they can do is say bog off.
