This is the place I go to:-

http://www.minimoto.co.uk/

Minimotos are great fun, but they have a bad rep where kids (and big kids - suicidesam ) are using them in unofficial areas.

If anyone is interested, then my mates and I are going to Hully on Sunday the 13th Aug.

Minimotos run between 4pm and 8pm on a sunday. It is £20 for the evening if you are a rider-owner (like me) but they do have bikes they will hire out to you for a price if you just fancy a go. You ought to give them a ring first to check price and availability mind.

You can get cheap minimotos for less than a ton delivered off eBay, these are great little starter bikes. I had (and still have) one of these, but have also got a more powerfull liquid cooled bike now (has about 4 times the power of the cheap ‘cags’). My bike is an Origami B1-rep, you can get them now for about £200-250, they are a bit cheap and nasty chineese copies of the official Blata Origami B1 (they are about £1500), but I have ‘sorted’ mine now and it is just as good/quick as my mates Blata 4.2, which is the aircooled little bro of the proper Origami and retail about £600-700.

If you fancy getting one then I’d be happy to give you advice from the lessons I learnt (the hard way ). There are forums like this http://www.minimotoclub.co.uk/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=10 where you can get all the info you need though.

Here is another clip, this time of me 'sliding about' on my old cheap CAG ... see they can be great fun
