You don't know what you want to do, have you had a good look around? Ignore everything and have a think about what you would like to do. For instance, you say you want something 'hands on'. Ok, like what? Plenty of things fall into that category you know. Plumber springs to mind as they are hands on and they make a ridiculous amount these days.

If you are truly unhappy doing what you are doing then change it.
