Bearing in mind if it does, if you get stopped on an unrestricted SV you will probably have the bike seized [they also seized 6 bikes in the above operation btw]. Firstly because you aren't licenced to be riding it. Secondly, it has invalidated your insurance.
Lie to the insurers and yourself that its ok by all means, just dont come on here if you bin it and youre found out or youre stopped and the bike is seized. You will get no sympathy if that happens as you made a deliberate choice to do this. Equally you will get very little sympathy if you get caught doing over a hundred and get a ban. Rather than complain about it not going fast enough, take a step back and appreciate you had a control that could stop you losing your licence very quickly.

Ask for a deffered inspection if you get stopped at a time convienient to you in the next 30 days (when you've restricted it again).
They can only stop you from leaving if your bike is not roadworthy - which BHP would not affect.
