I tend to agree that you've got to get along with the folks you live around and a bit of consideration goes a long way. Isn't it the case now that most modern bikes don't need the standard "warm up" as long as you don't scream the bike til it's warm?
Personally, the only thing that wakes me up during the small hours is the screeching mating foxes in the local wasteland. A louder thing I have not heard and I'm 18 storeys up!!
