But if you compare like for like, putting an extra 10bhp into a brand new SV650 makes it cost about as much as JimmyNumbers paid for his brand new thou, and you still have inferior suspension and drastically less power. It'll have cost you, oh, call it 30 hours less too.
Plus, insurance is a fiddle- there's only 2 companies in the UK that'll insure my mods. Loads will cover me but just with OEM replacement. It roughly doubled my insurance last year, this year I'm not sure but I'm on agreed value now so it's apples and oranges.
