Watching the video in slowmo, looks like he possably did. What i found odd though was that the hazard lights were already on before the car hit the bike (its possable its a new feature in some cars when emergency braking).
Now some peeps might not like this but here is some caps. Remember that UK frame rate is 25fps, watch the top right of image and you see how quickly everything happens.
