Kate if you are anything like me then you'll be skint most probably, but how does this sound why not see if you can chop in your 600 for a 750 and pay some extra on top ? 750 is the same seat height IIRC plus you get more power and more midrange over the 600. Running costs would be simialr except for the insurance.
I don't think you can get a 750 in Black and Silver though, not sure. Just a suggestion ? I don't know how viable it is for you though.
I think your stuck between a rock and a hard place. Have you been to a different Suzuki dealer and see if they can help you out ?
