I have never touched Michelin or Dunlop as they are way overpriced.
Just had a set of Avon Vipers fitted today and had a good ride to scrub in. A little dissapointed they were not as pointy in profile as previous sport spec Avons, but grip is fine so far especially the front hard on the brakes. Big difference to the OE dunlops. (Easy to lock, age to warm up)
Went for them as oppossed to the ST's.............err, cos a wanted a treat!?
Have used AV45/46 for about 30,000mile all types of riding(nutter/2up touring) on a GSX14. A heavy torque laden thing and been well pleased with miles Versus grip.
Anywayz they look cool as feck, n' the 190 is nearly 200mm.........so the 160 will look fat!
Oh dear ........ a tyre tart!!
