Default Need some electrical insight

So ever since day three of having my bike (2000 s) the signals have been going a little crazy. At first I thought it was water shorting something somewhere in the system (you begin to grasp my knowledge of electrics), but after (the bike) sitting in my garage for a week, this morning they didn’t work (at first).

...On the drive to work I hit a pothole pretty good, looked down and noticed my right signal was on and blinking!! I tried the left and it worked. So it seems the 'little' bump knocked things into place.

Now on the drive home, when I was entering the driveway, I heard the front suspension bottom out, thought I would try my signals again, and to no surprise, they don’t work anymore!

What I have since tried...
1) Bouncing the suspension up and down while pushing on the signal switch (not my idea, and no, it didn’t work)
2) Turning bars to their extreme left and right while pushing on the signal switch (didn’t work)
3) I have attempted to follow the leads from the front of the bike to the battery to check for exposed wires rubbing against something (couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary)
4) I have (to the best of my abilities) checked the 'prongs' in the 'holes' and nothing seems loose. In this I mean the 'loom(?)' where the wires terminate.

Any thoughts? Any suggestions (other than 'call priest, get out holy-water, dig hole'). Please forgive me for my very technical terminology.

Thanks kindly
