Ok so my preliminary findings are thus
Not in any particular order:-
- Biker Chicks are different to your stereotypical girl, this is self confessed and some are proud not to be ‘one of the mold’
- Biker Chicks can still be feminine, however some like/admit the fact that they are not 100% girly girl, it gives them an identity.
- Biker Chicks are quite feisty and defensive – probably largely due to being involved in a male dominated sport/hobby and all the s3xist remarks they are up against on a daily basis (Is that your bike?!?! Is that not a bit to big for you?? A girl on a bike?! They way they get ignored in bike shops Etc etc).
- Some are content within themselves and the slightly ‘oddball’ persona being a biker chick gives them, they don’t fight it, if anything they use/embellish it; others fight it tooth and nail and want to be seen as a stereotypical girl!!
- Biker chicks are generally born when they are brought up around bikes, or if they are simply into the freedom horsepower gives them (i.e. developed from equine interest).
Some of the above I have taken literally from the wording of our female posters, some I have deduced from reactions.

As a final note … what many seem to have missed is that I am imploring biker chicks!!! Don’t be so darn defensive woman!!
