Default Leaning over

Hi,

A few months ago i went along to the Ron Haslam race school, I had a great day and learnt a bit too, However as I was going around Donninton getting more and more confident, my instructor said that i was leaning the bike over too much, I was hanging off and grounding the pegs on the borrowed CBR which i thought was great, however on the last session I learnt my lesson and had a gentle low side around the final left hand hairpin (Goddard's) My instructor told me it was because i was leaning the bike too much! Could anyone explain to me why I low sided, despite the fact that i didn't feel the bike was lent over that much and the Pro Bikers can lean the bike over so much that they can get their elbow down? My elbow was no where near rear the floor, until i fell off! so how comes the pros can do it on their bike but i cant?
I'm sure this is down to my poor riding technique however any other reason would make me feel a lot better!!
cheers

Will
