Not being able to filter completely negates the legal (over here at least) benefits of having a bike for practical purposes IMO. If filtering was illegal (and prosecution of it here was enforced) I'd only use the bike as a weekend toy. Once you factor in getting it out of the garage, getting togged up etc. it'd take longer than a car to get somewhere if you couldn't filter (unless you really took the mick with your speed, in which case, you may as well filter illegally too).

I've never understood it when I've seen bikes sat in traffic not filtering. Just doesn't make sense to me.
