No.
The only medical personnel that can wear the red cross are, ironically, members of the International Red Cross. Normal everyday medics, such as myself, don't wear any crosses of any colour as it is a "first aid" insignia. Although we do administer First Aid wherever its needed we generally have to provide a higher level of care. However, we digress.
As a rule we (paramedics and EMT's) wear the Star of Life. (see my avatar - thats the Star of Life just in case you were wondering. which you probably weren't!!)

Incidentally, this is the reason why First Aid boxes are now green with a white cross.
