Given what's happened since it's easy to forget the beast sitting there, but it's had a lot of work done on it apart from just the cosmetic stuff.
New engine (really is a monster, hand built 152BHP).
painted frame
fettled throttle bodies
new injectors
new fuel pump
new complete loom
new alarm system
new swingarm bushes
lower mileage rear shock (78,000 miler, replaced by a 9,000 mile one)
custom built Maxton front shocks
new fairing
all plastics replaced
new rear light
new indicators
belly pan added
trimmed hugger
caustic internally cleaned exhaust (full system including headers)
added running lights (LED's)
Enameled rebuilt front calipers (rear also rebuilt)
new fork guards
seat hump added
custom seat cover
Although I've got to finish the body/ work (pinstriping/ decals/ clear coat), and build it back up, it's going to be pretty much a new bike.
