That's a good point actually - thirsty Gixxers.
And there was Lurcher saying his was really comfortable too. :P
Hovi5 - I did take them, but didn't need them. The only rain we hit was on the route back through Holland I think - and we just rode through it and out the otherside. they were kinda useful as padding for the tie-down strap on the ferry though.
Thing is with waterproofs - if you don't take'em you'll regret it - but if you can pack'em up small enough then they're no real inconvenience anyway.
This is European weather in the summer remember.
