If your can has a "rainbow" finish there is a good chance it is titanium. Use Mr Sheen or similar if you are worried. I only use Autosol for getting off tar spots etc. on my Ti exhaust cans. WD40 works a treat for cleaning crud off titanium too. Need to wash can after tho' or crud will stick easy.

Autosol will "cut" through any laquered ( to protect from corrosion )alloy parts ie on the SV frame rails, and make them nearly mirror finished ( like your brake/clutch levers). Ok if you like shiny bits and don't mind regular cleaning and elbow grease.
