Hi Andy-I had the same problem last week-done what everybody recommended with the front plug and lead after making sure it was clean and dry-I left the heater on in the garage for a few days so any moisture could evaporate,covered the frontlead and the surrounding area in grease(but done it tidy so it looks ok)and fired the bike up-had a good run yesterday on it with no probs-fitted the fender extender also-so hopefully thats it-just make sure the leads are dry and use plenty of grease-the fender extenders ugly but if its gonna help stop the front cylinder cutting out I'm just gonna put up with it.
