That was me
Around town it got very confused between the traffic lights, and would often sulk
ie. sit there cycling around the display not doing anything
On the open road it was much better, but then that's when you don't really need it unless to confirm you're in 6th ( I always have this urge to change up a gear at 120
)
I got it originally when I was new to the bike as one day I was turning into my road, dropped from what I thought was 3rd to 2nd, but was actually from 2nd to 1st, and nearly went over the bars
I got round this problem by putting an aftermarket exhaust on - you know what gear you're in with one of those
A bit more experience didn't go amis either . . .
