Metaphorical clever machinery? Is this a puzzle?
Seriously though, I wear high-vis for 90% of my riding at least. Being in North Wales people have high-vis jackets programmed into their "attention set" because of fear of NIPs etc.
The difference to drivers reactions when I'm wearing high-vis compared to when I'm not (my normal jacket matches the colour of the bike pretty much) is definately noticable.
In high-vis, I'm seen earlier, people move over, and most humourous, when I flash for them to pull out, I
never get anything that could be interpreted as a thank you!
Not in high-vis, I'm just another biker. People wave/indicate to say thanks & try to kill me happily. Bu**ers!
