OYB, thats not wear and tear, it's a warranty claim. Absolutely no doubt. Throttle components should not work loose on an 06 plate 4000 mile bike. Did it go to Cupar or Saltire? In fact anything that causes a bike that age to break down (other than bad fuel) should be sorted for you free of charge with a minimum of fuss, warranty or not. Don't pay for it.

OK, guys time to rally round and help out OYB here, I think they see a 19yr old walk in and think they can take the ****. Can everyone who is Scotland based and reads this (and agree's that this should be warranty), please post here so On Yer Bike, can print it off and take it with him?

With so many of the guys posting in SV Ecosse, being customers of Saltire or Cupar, I can't imagine either dealer would try to argue this one (given the service reputation of both I'm surprised and disappointed, it's the kind of stuff you expect from Jim A or Mick O)

OYB, change the title of this to include "all SV Ecosse please read", print this off and use it as a last resort bargaining tool if they try to stick to thier guns on it. Point out the locations of all the members down the left hand side and make them fully aware you'll be posting the outcome on here.
