try removing it, cleaning away all the silicon and crap, then use gungum all over the joining bits and put it back together, cleaning away all the crap that's left showing (yes it does actually look like crap, lol). then use the exhaust clips 2 completely seal it and leave it for a few hours.. come back to it and run the engine on idle for a few minuites but dont let it get 2 hot! you will notice you'll need to clean more crap away as the stuff expands to fill every gap... job done.
