Sounded better than the SV! I never understood why people wanted big cars- but after having this i completely understand. I used to travel about 200km off road every day though. But having a battered huge car was great - it was like carrying your garage around with you.
I agree. I used to have a 1991 Range Rover, and it had a retro-fitted corvette engine. It was the best thing to drive around town, I never had to worry about speed bumps (the faster you go, the less you feel them), kerbs or pot holes, it was automatic and because it was so square it was so easy to park and position. You can see ahead further and you don't get bothered by traffic or bad driving so much because everything seems so much more relaxed. It made a cracking noise too.

I think raising Road Tax in general is a better and ostensibly fairer way of taxation than the one put forward by various London boroughs and individuals to tax any vehicle with a 4-wheel driveline. As correctly pointed out; this would mean cars like the Fiat Panda 4x4 (50 mpg, and as tall and heavy as a biscuit) would be in the same classification as a Range Rover Supercharged (8mpg, with all the mass of Jupiter's moons). Madness, and the work of short-sighted council workers and not long term strategists.
