Yep, got him in the end, and took him back through town the scenic route (read "the route that had the most tunnels just to keep warm"
).
I'm glad I waited for him to be honest as that ride on the M20 was pretty dangerous with the lack of cat's eyes and street lighting even at the 80mph we were doing........glad he didn't go with the main pack he arrived back in Folkstone with as they did XXXmph+ which might have been a bit daunting in those conditions.
On the whole he told me that he had a great day out.....he even enjoyed the rain on the way back to London saying that it wouldn't be a proper ride in the UK without the rain
