proof of restriction
hi,
need some help on a question that has not been answerd before on restricted licences/bikes.
I lad i work with is going to get an SV on a restricted licence, not a problem, however the bike is going to come with a full power ECU, and 33 BHP ECU.( private sell)
the problem is there is no cert of restriction with the other ECU, and i know it is a diff one as one has 061 (33) on it and the other has 060 (full) on it.
so if for whatever reason he gets pulled, and given a producer, do they ask for the proof of restriction on the bike, or is there any way the police can tell by running a PNC that the bike is restricted or not? ( i personaly have said i dont think they can tell unless they take out the ecu, unlikley at the side of the road)
I know the PNC gives tax, MOT and ins details (no issue he will have all them) and it will also (i think) tell the police he has an A licence but does it destinguish between A full and restricted? as on licences a bike shows up as A.
any help on these answers appreciated.
