Thought I'd introduce myself.....
My names Nev and I'm in Belfast (for the time being anyway).
I'm sort of new to biking. Rode them 20 years ago when I was in my teens but never ever did my test which i regretted last year so decided to do it and get myself back on the road again. When I took a few lessons to refresh my memory I regretted it even more.....what ever happened to being able to indicate and point the bike in the right direction and pass?
I originally started with a MBX50 in the olden days although that wasn't my main ride. A mate of mine down the street had a garage at the bottom of his garden that noone went into so we bought a battered CBX550 and stuck it in there. After tidying it up a bit I would ride the MBX down to his so nobody knew what I was doing then park it up and go out on the CBX. Did that for 2 years and never got stopped. The stupid things you do as a kid eh?
Bought the SV in August, did my test in October, crashed the bike in November, managed to keep it upright since then and have only missed 4 days travelling into work on it due to the weather.
I have to say I'm loving it even more now and looking forward to many more years of it. Glad I found this place cause I was looking for some information on the bike and found it very quickly thanks to some help from you guys.
Anyway I don't want to bore the nuts off you anymore but after having a quick look through the site I think I'll hang around for a while cause there seems to be quite a bit of fun to be had here.
Cheers.
Nev.
