not cheating...
... well OK, maybe just a little bit.
They're easier to badly shoot reasonably well, but much harder to consitantly shoot really well.
That said I have got an old longbow too - but it's a lightweight little thing as I really can't get on with the draw style.
Strange - I couldn't hit the side of a barn 10 feet away if I was to throw a ball at it - but put a 'mechanical device' in my hands like a gun or bow and suddenly I'm accurate. Go figure.
