Isnt the candy blue a 3 stage paint process ( Silver base, with blue over the top and then clear lacquer )

I'm sure I've read before that because of this its expensive to get it sprayed professionally.

Personally I like the Suzuki OEM lowers best, and the price already includes the paint and spraying. I'd look into paint and spraying costs before you discount the OEM fairings myself.

Failing that what about a bellypan, they work well on the pointy and cost less to start with.
