Although i admit i have skim read the thread...have you said if you will be on a restricted license or full?
The sensible money indicates an SV would be the right choice, but if you can afford a GSXR and its what you really want then why not get it.(It really is alot more £ though, insurance wise/consumables and you certainly dont want to drop it...which you will
)
However that advice was for a full license, if you are restricted then it has to be the SV. No point having a restricted GSXR as by all accounts the SV handles it a lot better. By the time your 2 year probabtion is up the GSXR is more affordable and you will be in a better position to handle it.
An SV should be more than enough from a 50cc
