It is indeed fantastic
. Best thing about owning a gixxer is EVERYONE wants to race you, but you can have a smug grin whilst sitting at the traffic lights with chav boy revving his engine, cos you KNOW that as soon as the lights go green, within a few seconds he will be a tiny dot in your mirrors

Also - I love coming up behind cars doing anything over 10k rpm - they move out of the way instantly, then you give it some stick and overtake them at full revs - that is my commute to work every day

I had a test ride on the new Honda Hornet 600 yesterday thinking I should maybe consider a slightly more laid-back and practical bike - best thing I ever did cos it convinced me 100% that I never want to own a sensible bike! Compared to my gixxer it felt like Iwas riding a bmx! Far too upright, felt like there was no bike beneath me and sounded like an electric bike, I was bored after 5 minutes - the Gixxer stays!
