Yes, it is the easiest way into central Zurich. There is a railway station within the airport. The booking clerks all speak English and simply ask for a ticket to Zurich HB. It is about a 7 minute journey, they are extremely punctual.
The platform numbering at Zurich can be a little confusing. Buses, you are best buying a pass if there a couple of days. look at
