Some of you are cat owners, please help!

We're getting another cat to keep the mental little b*gger company. Farm cat/kitten to be named Chewie. who will be used to answering the call of nature in nature. I don't want him to get it into his head that he can use the litter tray instead, so I want to remove it. Permanently.

Now Artoo is used to using the tray. I figured that I'd just need to open the back door & close the cat wc & he'd just pop outside. First day I tried the little b*gger opened the cat wc door. Second day, I wedged it shut so he went on my bike cover. Nice.

How can I train him to evacuate outside? Can he be trained?

We're getting Chewbacca in about a months time so can I train Artoo before then?
