I found that local kids would kick my rear wheel whenever the bike was out on the road, thereby setting the alarm off.
In fairness, they were probably egged on by me letting my kids hit the pillion seat to trigger the alarm after I'd fitted it, and it was all harmless stuff.
It all ended after I hooked the horn to the "remote start" option of the alarm, and waited in hiding for them to go near the bike.
