Morning all.
Was there much difference with the bike after the service? For £200 there should have been!
Looking at the list it was mainly checking, which is ambiguous to say the least. Do they check brake pads by just gawping at the edge with the calipers in situ, or do they remove the calipers, and inspect the pads properly? It also appears that they didn't change brake fluid or coolant, it should be every two years, although I prefer to do it annually.
My 7.5k service can cost that sort of money if the bike needs a full complement of service parts, & a set of pads or two, but people do notice a distinct difference afterwards. It can also be done while you wait, so you can get dirty too

.
Cheers.
