You'd like the CBF then. Its got the ooomph of the blade engine, but the power delivery and engine braking of a twin because of how they've tuned it. Its one reason I love mine
Agree with your comment over the Fazer being an exaggeration when described as a moped compared to the gixxer thou. The Fazer thous engine IS the R1 engine - they really havent retuned it as much as Honda have done with the Blades engine in the CBF. I found the CBF was more than enough for me and tbh the issue Yamaha have with the new Fazer thous fuel injection, along with the fact it needed a seat lowering kit [the CBF didnt] and other mods to make it ok was one reason I didnt go for the Fazer in the end.
But Beenz hit nail on head back in his post - take time to get used to the bike and respect it.
