Yep - you should be good to go on the noise limit as long as they don't measure it at something silly like 0.3m (12").

Just to add also that without remapping or any other farting around, my can has behaved flawlessly over the last 10 months. Sometimes the baffle finds it's way under the pillion seat and it pops and bangs on overrun, but the bike runs great. When the baffle goes inside for a heat, the bike is nice and "quiet(er)" without noticeable pops etc.

3rd gear is perfect for attracting attention - wind her up (within the limits or on track) and snap the throttle shut quickly. That will rewars you with a few good pops and bangs and a silly grin that'll keep your face muscle in trim!
