Theres two ways to go

1. get a slipon can, that involves cutting the existing pipework just after the weld by the footpeg, then you fit the new can to this using some pipework that comes with it ( the link pipe ) most manufacturers supply a 2nd pipe that you can use to refit your original exhaust should you want to for MOT's etc etc

2. Buy a full system that replaces the existing can and pipework, doesnt involve any cutting but is more expensive and more fiddly to fit.

Most peeps go down the route of option 1, sounds nice, its a 20 minute job to cut the pipework and it will unleash a few ( but not many ) extra BHP.
