Erm, it's called a 'design feature' i think? Something Italian stylists (with a nod to your previous steed) have the ability to craft into just about everything they do. It's just a shame Suzuki used the services of a civil engineer on the BK it would seem.
I'm sure as with most bikes you will be able to get a nice Yoshi or Arrow system etc. to do the bike justice.
Has anyone mentioned SVthou??? Not exactly pants-on-fire i know but respectable in each of the critera you mentioned.
