I put FJ1200 bars on my SVS (with a little modification to the bars) and the riding position is vastly improved IMO, better control all round.

I needed a longer brake line (about 30mm, local place made it up for me in stainless fittings, £20), everything else adapts easily.

Do it (one of the options anyway), you won't regret it.

I've wondered whether some of the VFR bars would do, many are 41mm forks, trouble is there are a lot of variants to check out.
