If you retain the original SV bits you can always revert back ... or indeed flog /swap the GIXER stuff for stock stuff in the future if you have sold it
So I don't see the potential
(now clearly longer term and remote anyway) minitwins plans really preventing a GIXER front!!
Decision made
If I hadn't wanted to keep minitwin legal I'd prolly have gone GIXER front end myself as it does make most sense all round (if you flog your old bits)!!
And yes, if you don't have 'the best' kit, you are making even more work for yourself if you started racing. That said, from my quick flirtation with the series, it ain't THAT tough out there even on an underdeveloped old nail like mine
