Got V brakes on one of my other rides:-
Never really had a problem with going over the bars, apart from when I have buried the front tyre in very deep mud/sand
. I have got about 85kg of weight to keep over the back wheel to stop it coming up too high
.
Trying to keep the new bike as light and simple as possible, hence the v brakes over discs.
