I *think* this is actually true, it is supposed to, although I think there was a recent thread on this where a lot of people didn't believe it (or had read proof it didn't do it? I forget). I remember asking my Dad once, and he did explain why, but it was a long time ago!
He's a 'Science Leader' (yes his actual job title!) for Unilever - which is supposed to mean he's an expert in his field. Oh, his field is food allergy, he is partly responsible for making sure new food products don't give people adverse reactions...but that's also partly why he knew about cheese I think!
