Yes, it is stupidly placed!!!

I find the best ting to do is to take a reading - then stop the bike, if you twist the throttle full-on, as it moves, you will see the adjuster screw on the mechanism appear at the rear left (if you were sat on the bike) underneath the airbox. I then 'twiddle' the adjuster with my fingers (best to have a beautiful assistant to hold the throttle open whilst you do this), let the throttle go and then restart the bike ... take a reading - rinse and repeat until you have it right, ok, so its a bit of stopping and starting, but its easy to do and you don't need to disturb anything

Oh and just to check, we are talking about the 'balance' adjuster not the idle adjuster right??
