wizard: i very much doubt the bikes would disappear, the area is effectively zero crime and our road is full of good folks who watch out for each other. i'd imagine the only reason anyone would nick one on the island would be to rag it and dump it or split it for parts... still always a little concerning to have 7.5k of bikes sitting uninsured (no locked garage) while i'm at work though.
