For those you who know how crap that stretch of road is and for those who don't this is one of the worst bottle necks in the country combined with a junction that has scene its fair share of accidents, many fatal.

They have taken 30 years to decide what to do, spent over £23 million during that time, had 50 proposed routes and countless government reviews they finally looked like they were getting somewhere with a tunnel proposal.
Today the government has scrapped the plans, called for
another review and is nowhere nearer solving the problems 3 decades later.
