You need to get on line (Another computer or a friends etc), go to whatever make of laptop it is and see if you can download new disks i have XP but its no good to you, you need a complete XP and driver reinstall disks. Another option is to go to IE PC world,currys,etc tell them you need a new copy of XP explain whats happend and i am sure they will cut you a new copy.
PS. Take the origonal disks with you to prove you are the rightfull owner,it would be even better to go back with reciept to the shop you got it from.
