Not really at all no.
I went on 2 CBT's. When they were 3 year (couldn't afford license, and too young to bother with Limited). They never showed me the reserve tap. I went on another one as my previous CBT ran out (leading up to my test).
Funny enough, different test center (both known in the area as being good), and again wasn't told.
Then I had to do some basic lessons to learn "official" roadcraft, and never got told then either.
The only fact I know about reserve switches is because my old man has been a vivid biker since i was born and got into racing. You pick things up as a kid. Otherwise, I'd be none the wiser at all.
What do they say about assumptions...............
PS, read the post, your attitude to other people on here stinks. Go find a chav site if you wish to act like that towards members looking for help. This is a nice site, we don't need attitudes like that.
